In light of the health risks represented by the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the recent state of emergency declared in a growing number of states and the travel bans being imposed by many companies in our industry, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our 2020 Risk & Compliance Summit in Chicago, IL from April 5-7, 2020. We understand that the Risk & Compliance Summit offers a vital forum to hear from and interact with industry thought leaders and luminaries. Therefore, we will be investigating alternative ways to deliver some of this valuable content to you throughout 2020. Tony Vasile is Senior Director of NonBank Supervision & Enforcement for the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS). In his current role, Tony serves as lead for nonbank supervision processes, managing initiatives relating to state and federal supervisory activities. He is responsible for providing technical and organizational support to multi-state nonbank supervision processes. Tony also served as co-product owner of the State Examination System (SES), an end-to-end examination management system developed by CSBS for state financial regulators. Prior to joining CSBS in March of 2015, Tony served as a financial examiner for the State of Connecticut Department of Banking for 11 years. Tony has earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Boston University and is certified as a senior mortgage examiner.
